Simon Tucker who runs Timeless Promotions and is a writer for Louder Than War and Hiapop Blog gives us his top 40 albums of 2016.

"What a year it has been for music. There has been so much diversity, amazing debuts, and welcome returns. Thanks Paul Hiapop for allowing me to publish this list. It took me bloody ages haha. It was nice to be able to insert lots of albums that I didn't review this year as, being someone who writes about music constantly, it is hard sometimes just to enjoy an album without having to then write about it.
